What was the highlight of Doric Hotel
Two couples who booked a hotel leisure stay for a new year break.
This hotel was spotless and the staff were all lovely. The bar prices were reasonable and all public area’s are modern and welcoming.
We booked a quadruple room, which was located in what they call the annex. Which we did not know about until we received an email a couple of days before. The annex is a large house which is located at the back of the main hotel. So when going for meals or using any hotel facilities we had to leave the house and walk outside and in to the hotel. There are 4 rooms in the annex/house and our was lovely, spacious, clean and modern. Couldn’t fault it however we still would have preferred to be in the main part of the hotel.

Disappointing spa but everything else was good.
Very good service in reception, bar and restaurant. Very good entertainment.
Very poor condition of pool/spa area, needs a total refurb. Toilets really poor flushing. Being asked on arrival at restaurant, “Have you paid?” This should be shown on restaurant list.
